Create Time For You

7U9A5995I was catching up with a good friend recently when the topic of our schedules came up. She mentioned that “I’d love to do cook more but I just don’t have time, I’d love to try yoga but I have no idea how to fit that into my schedule. I’m ready to be in a relationship but who has time to date these days. Katie, I’m just so slammed at work that I barely remember to drink water.” I listened to her share that she feels sluggish, but is too busy to do anything to help her feel better.
I can confirm that, yes, she is busy (she travels a lot for work and has a pretty demanding job) but the truth is we can always find time to do the things we really want.

Today I’m sharing with you one simple step you can take to help create more time in your life for your health. It might sound simple but I swear by my calendar!

I have a tendency to forget to eat lunch when I’m working on a project. It’s a really bad habit because I just feel so tired and cranky and wonder why. What I did was write on my calendar Katie, it’s time to eat! I have found it super helpful and noticed that my body was actually hungry at lunch time the more I ate lunch.
I suggest starting off with a small step. This week I challenge you to look at your calendar and add in a few nice reminders for you throughout your day so you will feel inspired to take care of you. Be sure to share with us below how that goes!

In the meantime if you are looking for some inspiration to start be sure to watch this!

Big Hugs & Health,
