I don’t know about you but my brain and body are still feeling a little holidazed – I spent the past week eating turkey, stuffing and chocolate! It felt so good to nourish my body with some of my favorite foods that I don’t eat every single day. But by the time Sunday morning arrived, my body woke up craving a green smoothie.
Trust me, when I started out on my health and wellness journey I never thought I would crave anything but cheese and ice cream. But over the years as I made small tweaks to my diet and more importantly learned how to listen to my body I now know exactly what it’s looking for to feel nourished… and sometimes what it needs is stuffing!
As I was putting the finishing touches on our complimentary Thrive In Your Body New Year Challenge I wanted to make sure that even if you are not a smoothie lover (yet) there would still be some powerful ways for you to experience what being healthy feels like to you.
See, most of us just follow the latest trends we see on social media without taking the time to experience the way different foods, movement and self care really make us feel. I’m going to give you a fun and actionable activity every day so you can try different approaches to nourish your body.
You are going to see how taking care of your health for a few minutes every single day can really make all of the difference in the way you feel and show up in this world.
