smoothie bowl recipeWhen I lived in NYC one of my go-to dinners was cereal. I would eat cereal probably a good three out of five nights out of the week, sometimes more.

I loved it but an hour or so after eating I would be starving and would then eat another bowl of cereal. One of the many things that has changed since I started eating healthier is saying goodbye to cereal. It honestly tastes too sugary for me now and I don’t even miss it.

I started eating granola but it was to sweet for me too!

Most granola brands sold in the stores add ton of sugar to them so I was thrilled to discover Heart & Seed. This company is amazing! They only include real whole ingredients plus they use super foods like chia seeds, maca powder and spiralina in their granola. Heart & Seed inspired my new recipe The Smoothie Bowl. I hope you enjoy it.

Smoothie Bowl Recipe 

Grocery List:

  • 1 Avocado for creamy texture
  • 1 – 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 1 spoonful of coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup of berries (your choice)
  • A spoonful of shredded coconut
  • A spoonful of cacao nibs
  • 1 cup of Heart & Seed granola

Directions: 

  1. Toss everything into the blend
  2. Blend and pour into a bowl
  3. Add shredded coconut, cacao nibs and Heart & Seed granola
  4. Enjoy
