Growing up in NH I had always wished that I liked the winter more, since it was cold and snowy for most of the year. It had always been my dream to escape the seasons and live in a warmer, milder climate. Thank goodness for my move out west last year. It really did improve my overall psyche to see the sun every day, except for maybe the 6 or so days it has rained here in Southern California. 🙂
I always dreaded the winter and the first snowfall, even though it is beautiful. I never realized I could get excited about seeing snow. Now as I pack snow gear for the first time in over a year, I can’t wait to wear a winter hat, gloves and boots. I am psyched to go snow tubing and then reward myself with some hot chocolate in the ski lodge.
