Green Date Smoothie Recipe Simple Delish Recipe: Green Date Smoothie 

A few weeks ago we went to our local farmer’s market and discovered the most delicious dates ever, honey dates. These dates totally changed my life and inspired me to create this Green Date Smoothie Recipe.

This morning breakfast smoothie is full of greens to give you long lasting energy, healthy fats with coconut oil and avocados which help promote focus and productivity and dates full of fiber and energy to help you during your busy day at work. I also added some Maca Powder, a superfood to help maintain a healthy and balanced mood.

Grocery List: 

  • 1 banana
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 1 cup of kale
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 3-4 pitted dates
  • 1 teaspoon of peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon of maca powder
  • A dash of cinnamon

Directions: 

  1. Toss everything into the blender and blend for 60 seconds. Depending on your blender it might be too thick to drink so you can add some more water. 
  2. Drink & Enjoy
