Thrive In Your Body is all about nourishing and loving your body, living in the moment, falling deeply in love with yourself, getting out of your own way, healthy eating that fuels your body and soul and having more fun in your life. This is not another diet program. You will not be depriving or restricting your body. You will learn how to eat without guilt, enjoy food and move your body because you love yourself. We spend so much time in our life worrying about the way we look instead of spending time on how we would like to feel. When we have financial freedom, confidence, healthy relationships and a job we love, that is when we truly feel and live a healthy life.

I know because this has been my own personal journey.

During my twenties, I tried to be healthy so I experimented with the no-fat, low-fat diet, sugar free, carb free and over exercising routine. I seriously did everything I thought was healthy only to become more frustrated with my body. Late nights at the office had become routine and on my way home from work I’d stop at the corner store and grab a pint of Ben & Jerry’s Mint Chocolate Cookie ice cream and I’d eat the entire container by myself on the couch.

I was so busy striving for perfection in my job, my body and in the wrong relationships that I lost track of what made me feel nourished and happy. The combination of stress and my “healthy” diet made me so sick that I had a chronic sinus infection for an entire year. I went to ten different doctors, who prescribed antibiotics that only made me sicker with each office visit. I even saw an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist who recommended I have sinus surgery.

My “aha” moment with my health occurred during a visit with a Holistic Doctor. She changed my life with one simple question, “Why are you so stressed out?” I was stressed for many different reasons. The food I was eating was causing a lot of stress on my body. I had no ways to reduce stress in my life. I was not in a healthy relationship and I wanted my life to be perfect.

IMG_0159After that visit, I started reading books about nutrition, wellness and self-care. I fell in love with yoga, which helped me fall deeply in love with my body. I slowly stopped beating myself up and I started leaving work on time. It took me years to create my healthy lifestyle where I no longer feel guilty about the food I am eating, where I find enjoyment in movement, where I have tons of energy and no longer get sick every other week.

I share this to help you live your healthy life right now. 

Thrive In Your Body is an online group coaching program for women who are craving the experience to feel nourished, beautiful, joyful and lovable—without guilt from the scale, our jobs, the size of our clothes and our own expectations.

I will teach and empower you to eat healthy, to change your thoughts about your body so that you are moving it because you love it, and treating yourself in the most loving ways so that your body loves you right back.
