I love Pesto, I use it as a pizza spread instead of marinara sauce, as a salad dressing and with my Super Yummy Spaghetti Squash recipe. It is really easy to make at home in less than five minutes and tastes so much fresher than anything you can find at the store.
Grocery List:
- Two large handfuls of basil
- 1/4 cup of pine nuts
- 1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
Directions:
- Place all ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth. You may need a little more olive oil, depending on taste!
Healthy Tip:
- Store it in a mason jar and it will last longer than putting it in tupperware!
