Step Away From The Candy Dish

7U9A5694When I was younger my brothers and I would empty our bags of Halloween candy out on the floor after a full night of trick-or-treating and trade our treats. No one wanted the raisins, and I would always trade my Smarties for Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups – still my favorite flavor combination.

I kept the bag of candy in my closet, and every day after school I would come home and eat way too much candy. Often times I got a stomach ache and couldn’t eat much at dinner. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was addicted to sugar. Many tears were shed when that bag of candy was finished.

It may seem a little soon to have this conversation, but Halloween candy is everywhere and soon after this day of dress up the holidays arrive faster than expected. You may have even started to make holiday plans, perhaps your schedule is starting to get a little more packed, there is probably more candy at the office and maybe your healthy habits have started to slowly fade.

No worries if you are already feeling a little out of sorts! This is why I’ve created a workshop to support you and your health this holiday season.

Join me and Kick Your Sugar Addiction Before The Holidays on Wednesday, October 28th as part of our monthly women’s wellness chat series. This online workshop is a way for you to find motivation and inspiration as we start to enter the busiest time of the year. Join us by signing up here.

In the meantime, good luck finding your Halloween costume. It’s looking like we are having a Star Wars theme this year since Piper already has a Yoda costume 🙂

Big Hugs & Health,
