Why Sleep Matters To Your Waistline

By Friday of last week I was completely exhausted and all I ever wanted to eat was cheese and bread. My favorite comfort foods!

Ever since moving to LA I usually sleep like a baby but for some reason I kept waking up at 4 in the morning and was unable to get back to sleep, so annoying! I’ve heard from several of my clients and friends that they were having the same problem, so this week’s healthy tip is for anyone who has ever had a hard time sleeping.

We all know the crucial role sleep plays in our beauty, but did you know how important sleep is for our waistline? Without enough sleep not only are we moody but our appetite increases and this is when we usually crave carbs and sweets. Ladies this is what slows down our metabolism and messes with our hormones. No need to worry, we can fix this!

Today I’m going a little deeper on why it’s important to sleep, some quick tips on how to get a better night’s sleep so we can keep our hormones balanced.

Big Hugs & Health,
