What I love about connecting with you via social media, in person, over the phone, or through my newsletter is really getting the chance to know you. It helps me truly understand what makes you feel good in your body, what struggles you may be having with your nutrition and wellness and how I can support you so you feel amazing in that body of yours.
Even if we have never met before, I want you to feel like you know me better so here are a few fun things about me!
1. I’ve lived in three cities; London, NYC and Los Angeles. Each one so unique and they all have a tiny piece of my heart. As an english major, London was like getting to know some of my favorite writers, NYC felt like I was alive for the very first time and LA makes me feel home.
2. I met my husband when I was in the fourth grade, but we didn’t get together until we were 31 (even though he had a crush on me the entire time 😉 )
3. I played field hockey, ran cross country and played the clarinet in high school. I was also the president of Key Club a member of Student Council and part of the Drama Club. I am not kidding when I tell you that I’m a recovering perfectionist and overachiever!
4. I had severe PMS when I was planning my wedding (which I had never experienced before) which prompted me to study hormones with Dr. Sara Gottfried. Once I got my hormones balanced I knew that it was crucial for all of my clients to experience this.
5. I started taking pottery classes this year, which has been a fun yet uncomfortable experience for me. It isn’t easy learning something new but I feel like I’m finally getting a hand of it and enjoying it a little more each time I go.
6. My favorite ice cream is Ben & Jerry’s Mint Chocolate Cookie. This is an extremely hard flavor to find so if I ever see it I have to buy it.
7. My favorite movies of all time are musicals, Sounds of Music and Annie! But I love Anne of Green Gables and Reality Bites just the same.
8. In college I ate so much cheese and crackers that my friends started calling me mouse!
9. While working in Digital Ad Sales in NYC I was so stressed out and sick that I started taking lunch breaks at the local yoga studio. I started to feel calmer for the first time in my life. My boss noticed and asked me what changed, but I never told him. I was afraid he wouldn’t let me take a lunch break so I just let him believe that I was awesome at ad sales!
10. When I decided to go back to school to become a Nutrition and Wellness coach I never imagined how much my life would change for the better. I became healthier, I left NYC and moved to LA and am living my passion. I find so much joy in helping you create a healthy and sustainable life.
11. I’m a huge Counting Crows fan and love the lead singer Adam Duritz. One night in NYC I saw him in the subway station so I jumped on the same subway as him. I then went up to him, touched his shoulder and told him that his music changed my life and then ran out of the subway! (Hope this doesn’t make me sound too much like a stalker)
12. I’ve been to at least 13 PHISH shows with my husband and I love Karaoke! 😉
