Introducing My Twin Boys

I’m so EXCITED to introduce you to my identical twin boys Brady Avett and Devin James. 

Just a few days old

Our twin boys arrived on April 2nd, and like many births, it didn’t go as planned! I’m still trying to process it all, having babies during a global pandemic where hospital rules were changing at a moment’s notice was something I never could have anticipated.

We found out three days before our delivery that my husband wasn’t allowed to stay after with us, and then one of my boys had to spend five days in the NICU for fluid in his lungs. It was very emotional, but both boys are healthy and at home thriving and have big appetites already. They have already doubled their birth weight and have started to smile which is just the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen and love all of their tummy time.

So far we’ve been able to tell them apart (their “personalities” are unique), but every day they start to look more alike and we might have to paint one of their toes in red nail polish. 

I’ve been working on writing my birth story, and will share soon! Between working with my one-on-one clients and taking care of these little dudes it’s left me with less time for writing, but I learned so many things during labor that I can’t wait to share with you all.

Thanks for all of your support during my pregnancy and all of the love you’ve sent our way since the boys were born. It’s been such a very special three months with them.
