Right now with all of the unseasonably warm temperatures across the country the pollen count is the highest it has been in years. Even if you have never had allergies before you might be sneezing and feel congested.

I started using the Neti Pot to get rid of a sinus infection and I haven’t had once since. I used to get at least two a year!
I use my Neti Pot in the morning and evening as a way to help clear my sinuses. I have always had horrible sinus issues and this is the one thing that has helped so much with my allergies and colds.
You can purchase one at a local drug store, target or a natural food store. Then you just need some Kosher Salt, not regular salt it will burn you nose, and warm water.
Here are Some Simple Quick Tips When Using The Neti Pot:
1. Make sure the water is not too hot
2. The first time you use it, perhaps try it out in the shower so you don’t get grossed out 🙂
3. Just place the tip of the Neti Pot into one nostril and let the water come out the opposite side (getting all of the mucus out of your nose) Then place the tip of theNeti Pot on the other side of your nose and repeat.
4. During allergy season you may want to use the Neti Pot a few times a day to help get the pollen out of your nose. One of the many reasons you sneeze so often is that the pollen is stuck in your nose. Rinsing it out will help calm down your allergies.
5. You might want to blow your nose after you use the Neti Pot to make sure all of the mucus is gone
This might sound gross to you but I swear it is a miracle worker. The Neti Pot changed my life 🙂
