I am so busy during the day that I need something that can sustain my energy levels and fill me up for a few hours. I love my morning treat smoothie! I have tried tons of different combinations and this is my favorite way to start my day.
It is super easy to make. You just need a magic bullet or a blender. I love my magic bullet, (http://www.buythebullet.com/) it is easy to clean and it never fails to make my morning treat in less than two minutes.
Grocery List:
- 1 Banana
- A handful of spinach
- A handful of kale
- Berries! strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries
- 1 tablespoon of wheatgrass
- A 1/2 cup of water
- A dash of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
* all is optional. Best thing is to try different combinations and find one that you enjoy the most!
Directions:
- Just blend everything together and enjoy! To make your morning extra special just pour it into a fancy glass and drink out of a fun straw 🙂

- If you know that you are going to have a busy morning you can make it at night and then leave it in the fridge in a sealed tight container.
