It is a day of unity, a time to bring people together and ask yourself, what are you thankful for? This is not a common question for most of us. We seem to have a go button that keeps us constantly moving forward without asking ourselves some very simple but important questions.
Does this action bring me joy? Do I feel present in this moment? What can I do to create the life I truly want and deserve?
If you don’t have time to do this on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Take some time this week to sit with yourself. Give yourself five minutes away from everyone and everything and just write down the first things that come to your mind about being thankful. Keep this close to you, in your wallet or on your dresser and look at this every day. Share with your loved ones on Thanksgiving and thank them for being a part of your beautiful life.
This is what I am thankful for this year…
- Every day I wake up excited for my day. I have more energy now, than I have ever had in my life. It wasn’t always like this… since I changed my diet, reduced the stress in my life and followed my passion every day is a bright new adventure.
- It was hard leaving family and friends and moving to the west coast, but something strong was calling me there and I love my new sense of calmness and grounding.
- This year we celebrated both of my grandparents 93rd birthdays and my beautiful niece was born. So thankful to be creating new memories with my loved ones.
- Distance is not measured by miles these days, thank goodness for technology! Texts, phone calls, g-chat and face time make the east coast and west coast so much closer.
- Thanks for being part of what I love to do every day. I am here always to offer you support and guidance and help you create the life you want and deserve.
