Love Your Body Just The Way It Is

Last night during my Thrive In Your Body mastery program I declared it to be, Love Your Body Just The Way It Is week. My program is all about throwing away the scale, ditching your diet for good and focusing on how you want to feel rather than how you perceive the way you look.

Often times we are not truly seeing us for the beauty that is who we are. We are so focused on a number on the scale and the number of calories in our food that we are not enjoying our lives.

So many times my clients tell me that they will start living their fabulous life when they lose five pounds, when they can fit into their favorite pair of jeans again…or whatever “that” is for you.

But this is not encouraging us to live our best life. This week’s mini step is to start loving your body a little more.

Here are a few of my favorite ways to love your body more…

  • Massages
  • Bubble baths
  • Go outside & get some sunshine
  • Sugar/salt scrubs in the shower
  • Eat real chocolate
  • Celebrate your body party
  • Wear red lipstick
  • Walks on the beach
  • A long hot shower
  • Big self hugs
  • Kisses
  • Wearing your favorite outfit
  • Eating a healthy meal
  • Buying pretty flowers
  • Put coconut oil on as lotion and rub it into your body lovingly
  • Say I love you
  • Painting your nails & toes
  • Writing in your journal
  • Smile at strangers
  • Smile at you in the mirror
  • Call your BFF
  • Have a cup of tea
  • Drink a glass of red wine
  • Sleep in
  • Curl up on your couch and read a book
  • Take a nap
  • Wear Your favorite outfit
  • Go Dancing
  • Sing as loud as you can to your favorite song
