I always love snuggling underneath a warm blanket watching my favorite holiday movie, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, and drinking some hot chocolate.
The problem with most of the hot chocolate packets you purchase at the store is that they are full of sugar, which doesn’t satisfy our chocolate craving and only creates a desire for more sugar.
I know it doesn’t feel like the holidays without some hot cocoa so I have been experimenting in my kitchen to find the most delicious and healthy version. Today I am excited to share with you my Healthy Hot Chocolate Recipe. It will satisfy your chocolate cravings and is a delicious treat!

Grocery List
- 1/4 cup of raw cacao
- A dash of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of honey
- 1 and 1/2 cup of almond milk
Directions
- Place a medium sauce pan on the stove on medium heat
- Add 1/4 cup of raw cacao
- Add in 1 and 1/2 cup of almond milk
- Add in a dash of cinnamon
- add in 1/2 teaspoon of honey
- Stir until the raw cacao has turned into a liquid
- Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy!
