Katie B’s Energy Solution Recipe
If you are like most people, your energy levels start to crash around 3 p.m. You might grab a snack, probably something sugary like soda or some chocolate to give you that instant energy fix. You might feel okay for about an hour and then you start to crash again. Does this sound like you? It is okay if it does, because I have tons of easy tips to help keep your energy levels up. The first one is to eat real whole foods to help maintain your energy levels in your body. Instead of buying protein or energy bars like Luna Bars, try this Simple Delish Recipe. It takes less than five minutes to make, only have four ingredients in it and will help maintain your energy levels. This is a guilt free – fun treat for that afternoon slump!
Katie B’s Energy Balls Recipe
Grocery List:
- 1/2 cup 100% all natural peanut butter (creamy works the best)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 1/2 cups of flax meal
- 1/2 cup of raisins or raw cacao nibs
Directions:
- Toss all ingredients into a bowl
- take a spoon and combine the ingredients
- Roll up into bite-sized balls and refrigerate for at least an hour before eating
Katie B Tip: These energy balls are sooo yummy that they are kinda addicting. Try to only eat 1 or 2 a day during your energy slump or before a workout.
