Healthy Homemade Nutribullet Hummus Recipe

Looking for an easy way to add some healthy protein into your diet? Try this easy healthy hummus recipe which can help support your hormones. By adding protein into each meal and snack you can help to balance your blood sugar levels, (which is essential for hormone balancing) plus protein packed food keeps your body satisfied longer and reduce those afternoon sugar cravings. This recipe takes less than five minutes to make in your Nutribullet and is super delicious!

Healthy Homemade Nutribullet Hummus Recipe

Healthy Homemade Nutribullet Hummus RecipeGrocery List: 

  • 1 Can of Chickpeas (my favorite brand is eden farms because their cans are BPA free)
  • 1 half lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of tahini
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil

 

 

Directions: 

  1. Wash the chickpeas in a strainer. Wash the chickpeas a few times to get rid of the sodium
  2. Place the chickpeas into a blender/nutribullet
  3. Squeeze the lemon into the blender/nutribullet
  4. pour the olive oil and tahini into the blender/nutribullet
  5. Blend
  6. Enjoy with some veggies as an afternoon snack
